AlliancePrivacy policy
Last updated 27 September 2026
We do not sell your information to third parties.
Pippinware makes Alliance. This page explains what we keep when you sign up for early access to Alliance, and why.
What we keep
- Your name and email address.
- Your answers: what kind of developer you are, what you make, the engine you use today, the computers you make games on, the platforms you make games for, and anything you write in the two questions.
- Whether you asked for product updates, and when you signed up.
- To stop abuse, short-lived counters keyed by a one-way hash of your internet address and of your email address. They're deleted within a few days.
Why
- To confirm that the email address is yours.
- To run the waiting list and invite people from it.
- To tell you if licensing changes.
- To plan Alliance's release and make sure it works for as many people as possible.
- To send product updates, only if you asked for them.
Who sees it
The Pippinware team. It's stored with Amazon Web Services in the United States. We don't sell it to anyone, and we don't share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
While you're on the waiting list, and while you have an Alliance account after that. If you never confirm your email, your details are deleted within about two days.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your details, or to stop product updates, email privacy@pippinware.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
